Mermet Springs is a favorite of mine in the Midwest which I frequently dive. Their staff are very approachable and the dive site offers many points of interest. The site is located very near Vienna, Illinois and has dive sites that range from 20 to 120 ft. Mermet Springs is a full service scuba diving site and one of the most popular dive facilities in the country, attracting the attention of scuba divers around the world to dive a Boeing 727 airplane! - Equipment rentals available.

About the Dives
The dive site includes a world famous Boeing 727 plane and numerous other fascinating underwater adventures that include small craft airplanes, school bus, train cars, fire engines and just about anything else! If interested we offer Wreck Dive Specialty and several others Specialty Dives at this site! Travel
Driving to the site from Indiana may vary, however 4 hours is the typical drive time. Typically we all camp at Mermet Springs and arrive the nigh previous to the weekend dives which gives everyone time to meet and greet. We look forward to diving with you! Dive Insurance

Gilboa is a Midwest facility frequently dived because of its extremely clear water and large bottom area and many points of interest. The site is located in Ottawa, Ohio and provides dive sites from a depth of 20 to 140 ft. Gilboa is a full service scuba diving site and one of the most popular dive facilities in the country, attracting the attention of scuba divers around the world. Gilboa Quarry provides some of the best camping next to the dive site. - Equipment rentals available.

Scuba Club Cozumel Dive Resort is a favorite of mine in Cozumel, Mexico! I am a frequent diver and their staff and boat crew is the best! They are all approachable and very accommodating. - Equipment rentals available.

Scuba Club Cozumel is perfectly positioned on the island and provides walking distance to town (San Miguel) and just around the corner from a large Walmart "like" store (Food, electronics,. etc.) named "Mega" with a few mall like shops inside. There are also a number of additional store like Sam's Club that are around the corner if you need some of the comforts of home. Lesley and I are very familiar with the island and can help provide the best experience if going to town or the beaches as well. They have fantastic boats and the hotel is built for diving with onsite diver gear lockers, dunk tanks, dive shop, a pool and the ocean a few steps from all rooms. Its a fantastic place to dive from with unlimited shore diving that allows for numerous PADI training opportunities on shore. They have a dive store across the street that has plenty to select from and numerous slates and books to take in the local diving. Many divers go diving in the morning, get back to the property and go directly to the kitchen to eat, some still dripping wet from the dives! About the Dive Boat
The "Cheeca View" is a 45' catamaran and allows plenty of room to move about and allows the crew to give lots of individual attention. The boat is very stable in waves since it uses two hauls which makes for a very comfortable ride. The boat has ice water, Capri Sun juice drinks (My favorite, good for getting the salt taste out!) and plenty of candy. The cooler is very large and accommodates any drinks or snacks you wish to bring aboard. There is a marine head (toilet) on board and a fresh water shower for quick rinse. About the Dives
The Cheeca View dive boat frequents the Molasses Reef system and my favorite the Spiegel Grove shipwreck! If interested we offer the Spiegel Grove Shipwreck Dive Specialty and several others Specialty Dives! Depending on availability dive trips depart 9:00 am and 1:30 pm and both dives are 2 tank/ 2 location trips. Boat trips cancelled by Horizon Divers due to unfavorable circumstances will be refunded. No refunds will be made for seasickness, excessive partying, or unused equipment (including tanks). Each diver will receive a copy of the Florida Shipwreck trails slates as part of the trip! Travel
Travel is the responsibility of the diver, however in addition to flying many of us typically drive the first day to Valdosta Georgia and then complete the remainder of the drive the next day.
