The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course builds your confidence and scuba skills as a Scuba Diver. Building upon on what you've already learned, will help you develop new skills and introduce you to five of the fantastic adventure dives which are listed below.

Class includes:

- Review of the learning materials.
- Instructor to complete PADI Advanced Diver checkout dives.
- This does not include entrance fees or general rental requirements to complete dives.
- DAN Insurance while in training.

What you learn - That's up to you!
You will be introduced to five adventure dives that include the Underwater Navigator Diver and Deep Diver (60-100 feet) and any of the following three Adventure Dives of your choice:

You will gain the knowledge and skills in the practical aspects of physiological effects of deeper scuba diving, additional underwater navigational training using your compass with kick-cycles and using visual landmarks and time. You better understand how to use your dive computer and electronic Recreational Dive Planner (eRDPml) and the Adventure Dives you choose.
The Scuba Gear You Use
You use all the basic scuba gear (BCD, regulator, mask, snorkel, fins, scuba cylinder, and exposure protection) including your underwater compass. Depending on which three adventure dives you pick, you may also try out underwater digital photography equipment , DPVs (underwater scooters), a dive light for night dives, reels and other specialty gear. Check with your local dive shop about gear rentals and packages.
Learning Materials
You will read the PADI's Adventures in Diving materials which includes videos that contain information on several types of specialty diving. After that; its time to dive!
Continuing Education
Get credit! Each Adventure Dive in the PADI
Advanced Open Water Diver course may credit toward the first dive of the
corresponding PADI Specialty Diver course. Apply what you have learned toward your next class and become a PADI Rescue Diver!
