You will gain the knowledge and skills in the practical aspects of physiological effects of deeper scuba diving, additional underwater navigational training using your compass with kick-cycles and using visual landmarks and time. You better understand how to use your dive computer and electronic Recreational Dive Planner (eRDPml) and the dives you choose.
The Scuba Gear You Use
You use all the basic scuba gear (BCD, regulator, mask, snorkel, fins, scuba cylinder, and exposure protection) including your underwater compass. Depending on dives you pick, you may also try out underwater digital photography equipment , DPVs (underwater scooters), a dive light for night dives, reels and other specialty gear. You will read the PADI's Diving Manual and for some courses PADI Diving videos which contains information on several types of diving. You will read the chapters and complete the knowledge reviews at the end of each chapter to be reviewed with you instructor. After that; its time to dive!
Get credit! Each Specialty dive is credited toward your Master Scuba Diver Rating!
